Ausar- The spirit form of Jesus, he came down to earth for the benefit of mankind. He brought peace and learning to the people, he gave them laws to regulate the moralities of human kind. He solved there problems, and led them to spirtuality. People weren’t forced by Ausar to follow him but were drawn to his spiritual hyms, music and persuasive speeches.

Auset- The spirit form of Virgin Mary. She is known for being the Queen of Egypt. She is the goddess of magic, fertility and motherhood. She was also able to bring back her husband/brother Auset after he was killed by the jealous Seth. She was known for creating the Nile river by crying so much after hearing the information of her husband’s death.

Martin Delany is an African American abolitionist. He is also the first African American Field Officer in the U.S Army. He attended Harvard Medical School and became a physician. He used his influence to educate others of slavery with several abolitionist publications

Charles Drew is an African American surgeon who developed methods of storing blood plasma for transfusion. Under his authority he managed two of the largest blood banks during World War II. After hearing that African American blood would be segregated he quickly resigned. Dying in a horrible car crash, Drew’s legacy still remained. He has received numerous posthumous honors, he was also featured in the United States Postal Service’s Great Americans stamp series. His name also appears on many educational institutions across the country.

Frantz Fanon was a West Indian psychoanalyst and social philosopher.He had a stance on neuroses and how they are socially generated. His opinions influence a lot of thinkers and activists. He served in the army during World War II and then later on attended medical school  which led him to become head of the psychiatry department at Blida Joinville.

Dream Hampton is a writer, an award making film maker and hip hop journalist from Detroit. She is the first female editor of the Source magazine. She is well known for her work  I am Ali and the director of Transparent which focused on the 2011 Detroit killing of Shelley Hilliard a 19 year old transgendered female.

C.L.R James was a political activist who was a leading figure of the Pan African movement. He became a teacher at Queen’s Royal College in Trinidad, he later then moved to England where he started to pursue his writing career. He published his first book with the help of cricketer and politician dearie Constantine it is titled The Life Of captain Cipriani. After publishing his first book he became a cricket correspondent which lead to involvement in Marxist politics.

Larry Neal was an African American writer and is also on the most well known figure in the Black Arts Movement of the 1960 and 1970’s. The pivot of his career started with his essay ” The Black Arts Movement,” he talked about how black art is “the aesthetic and spiritual sister of the Black Power concept. Neal first started off being a copywriter for the firm John Wiley and Son’s which later placed him as the arts editor at the Liberator ( black nationalist magazine). With the work he was doing, he found himself interviewing influential black artists, musicians, and writes. Furthermore this put him in the starting line for the Black Arts Movement

Amiri Baraka formally known as Everett LeRoi Jones was an African American poet, activist and scholar. He was an influential black nationalist and later became a marxist. He started of his career by publishing his works and his colleagues in the Totem Press. He later then published his collection of poetry named   ” Preface to a Twenty Volume Suicide Note”. One of his famous works called “The Dutchman” was a play that discussed racial tensions. 

Stokely Carmichael aka Kwame Toure was a Trinidadian-American political activist, he was best known for leading the civil rights group SNCC in the 1960’s. Carmichael later then became the chairman of the SNCC, working with the late Martin Luther King Jr. himself. Carmichael initial stance was non violence during these protests, he later grew tired and changed his party. He allied himself with the militant of the Black Panther Party.

Chancellor Williams was an African American sociologist, historian and writer. He is known for his work on African civilizations. His major work is The Destruction of Black Civilization. He is one of the many historians who thinks that Ancient Egypt was predominantly a black civilization.
